The Food & Beverage Sanitation Supervisor is a vital seasonal role at Schlitterbahn, playing a key part in upholding food safety standards while enhancing guest experience. This supervisory position offers a competitive wage of $18.00 per hour and is designed for individuals 18 years of age and older who are passionate about food safety and guest service. The supervisor will lead daily sanitation audits using company-approved forms, ensuring that all food service areas meet stringent safety and cleanliness requirements. This role involves direct communication with food managers regarding daily audit outcomes and proactive correction of any safety deficiencies discovered.

Beyond auditing, the Food & Beverage Sanitation Supervisor will coach and train associates on proper food safety practices, fostering a knowledgeable and compliant team. The supervisor is also responsible for addressing and resolving food safety issues promptly, maintaining a safe environment for all guests and staff. Greeting guests, answering their questions, and ensuring high-quality service are integral parts of the role, helping reinforce Schlitterbahn’s reputation for exceptional guest care. This position also involves preparing detailed reports for management review, including weekly analysis and suggestions for process improvements.

Job Requirements

Job Duties

  • Address and resolve any food safety issues
  • coach and train associates on proper food safety
  • directly communicate to food managers on daily audit results
  • greet guests, answer questions and ensure quality service
  • conduct daily audits of food service areas, utilizing Schlitterbahn approved audit form
  • prepare reports for regular review with management including weekly recaps and suggestions on improving processes
  • correct immediate areas of deficiencies when observed
  • report any and all maintenance concerns that could have an adverse effect on food and personal safety
