At Aramark’s Flowers Bakery facility, the role of Sanitation Operations Manager takes center stage in maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and food safety in a high-volume food production environment. The position involves overseeing all sanitation operations to ensure compliance with stringent food safety standards and regulatory requirements such as FDA, USDA, FSMA, HACCP, SQF, and BRC. This crucial leadership role drives continuous improvement efforts, ensuring the bakery operates as a safe, clean, and audit-ready facility at all times.

The Sanitation Operations Manager will lead and develop sanitation teams while fostering a strong culture of safety, accountability, and performance. The manager is also responsible for monitoring sanitation schedules, equipment effectiveness, chemical usage, and inventory management to streamline operations effectively.

Job Duties

  • Manage daily sanitation operations ensuring compliance with food safety regulations FDA USDA FSMA HACCP SQF BRC and maintaining audit readiness
  • Train supervise and develop sanitation staff while fostering a culture of safety accountability and performance
  • Align sanitation schedules with production monitor equipment effectiveness and manage chemical usage and inventory
  • Enforce safety protocols ensure proper PPE use and address incidents with corrective actions
  • Partner with QA and plant leadership to meet standards support audits and track report key sanitation metrics
  • Serve as the on-site liaison to Flowers Bakery ensuring strong communication and delivery of Aramark service standards
