The role of a Sanitation Associate at Circle U Foods is an integral part of ensuring the company's commitment to food safety and operational excellence. This position primarily revolves around maintaining the cleanliness and hygiene of the food manufacturing facility, including the thorough cleaning of large containers like 55-gallon drums and Intermediate Bulk Containers (IBCs), as well as floor upkeep and perimeter sanitation. The Sanitation Associate plays a critical role in managing both clean and dirty containers by assisting in their movement to appropriate areas for use or cleaning and ensuring that trash and debris are properly handled to prevent contamination risks.

This full-time position requires a dedicated individual who pays close attention to detail and possesses the physical stamina to manage repetitive tasks, such as power washing heavy containers, mopping floors, and conducting routine inspections throughout the plant. The associate is also responsible for supporting general sanitation equipment upkeep, participating in scheduled deep cleaning activities, and adhering strictly to safety and hygiene protocols. Candidates with prior sanitation or janitorial experience in a food manufacturing environment are highly valued, as is knowledge of sanitization chemicals and safe handling procedures. Working independently as well as collaboratively within a team, the Sanitation Associate ensures a safe and sanitary workspace that supports the production of high-quality food products.
