Job Requirements
- Some high school education or equivalent with ability to read and perform math
- Ability to read, speak and understand English
- Ability to understand and implement written and verbal instructions
- Ability to interact with customers on a friendly basis
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Availability to work varied schedules, weekends and holidays
- Ability to work in any restaurant area when needed
- Ability to operate a computerized Point of Sale system/cash register
- Physical endurance for bending, standing, walking and repetitive hand and arm use
- Ability to lift 10lbs frequently and up to 50lbs occasionally
- Ability to handle continuous exposure to food and cleaning chemicals
- Ability to handle exposure to extreme temperatures
Job Qualifications
- Some high school education or equivalent
- Ability to read, speak and understand English
- Ability to understand and implement written and verbal instructions
- Friendly and effective customer interaction skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Job Duties
- Greets customers and prepares their orders
- uses Point of Sale system/cash register to record orders and compute the amount of the bill
- collects payment from customers and makes change
- Prepares food neatly, accurately and in a timely manner
- Demonstrates a complete understanding of menu items and explains them to customers accurately and cheerfully
- Checks products in prep area and restocks items to ensure sufficient supply throughout the shift
- Understands and adheres to all quality standards, formulas or portion controls
- Adheres to proper food handling, safety and sanitation standards, including checking dates and temperatures and logging information
- Performs general housekeeping and cleaning tasks
- Maintains professional appearance and grooming standards
- Performs light paperwork duties as assigned
