The Sand Mixer role is crucial in ensuring that our green sand molding materials meet the precise standards required for quality metal castings. Under the supervision of the Mold/Core Department Supervisor, the Sand Mixer will be responsible for properly preparing green sand, which serves as the essential material in the mold-making process. This position requires a careful approach to mixing, handling, and maintaining sand materials along with operating specific equipment such as forklifts and sand hoppers. Candidates should have the ability to interpret simple instructions clearly and apply practical methods to meet production goals.

In this role, the Sand Mixer will directly impact the quality and efficiency of our production lines by preparing sand mixtures consistently and safely. The work involves both physical demands, such as lifting heavy materials and standing for extended periods, and technical tasks like operating machinery and maintaining clean work areas.
