Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • previous food service or kitchen experience a plus
  • food handler certificate required
  • ability to stand for extended periods
  • physical ability to lift 25 pounds
  • ability to follow safety protocols and instructions
  • must be able to work with or without accommodation
  • eligibility to work in the United States

Job Qualifications

  • Food handler certificate as required by city or state
  • ability to read and execute instructions accurately
  • manual ability to operate cutting tools and kitchen utensils
  • physically able to lift up to 25 pounds
  • capable of standing for long periods
  • knowledge of food safety and quality standards
  • experience operating kitchen equipment preferred

Job Duties

  • Learn and maintain knowledge of menu and ingredients
  • follow food safety and quality standards
  • read and execute instructions accurately
  • operate cutting tools and kitchen utensils safely
  • prep cold and hot food items following knife safety procedures
  • operate oven and other prep equipment
  • maintain clean stations throughout shift
  • maintain clean and organized dish and sink area
  • restock clean dishes and equipment
  • take out trash at dish station
  • clean mop sink, area, and cleaning supplies
  • refill kitchen chemicals as needed
  • put received orders away
  • perform job duties with or without reasonable accommodation
