Job Requirements

  • ability to stand and walk for extended periods
  • ability to lift and carry trays and equipment up to approximately 25 pounds
  • ability to bend, reach, and move quickly in busy event environments
  • flexible availability including evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • reliable transportation to assignments
  • prior banquet serving experience preferred
  • ability to carry trays safely during service

Job Qualifications

  • ability to safely carry oval trays during service required
  • professional hospitality demeanor and strong guest service skills
  • flexible availability including evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • reliable transportation to assignments throughout San Diego County
  • professional service attire required
  • ability to work legally in the United States

Job Duties

  • perform professional banquet service including plated meals, buffet service, receptions, and cocktail events
  • carry oval trays safely and confidently during service
  • set up and break down banquet tables, service stations, and event areas
  • follow steps of service and client-specific event instructions
  • maintain clean, organized work areas throughout the event
  • communicate effectively with captains, chefs, event managers, and teammates
  • provide polished guest service while representing The Party Staff professionally
