Coast Care operates with an understanding that caregiving is not just a job but a vital service that deeply impacts the lives of individuals and families. Their approach includes extensive support, flexible scheduling, and meaningful recognition for their caregivers, setting them apart in the home care industry.
As a professional caregiver at Coast Care, you will provide compassionate, personalized care to clients across a variety of communities such as Alpine, Bonita, Carlsbad, Chula Vista, El Cajon, Encinitas, Escondido, Fallbrook, La Mesa, Oceanside, Poway, San Diego, San Marcos, Santee, Vista, and more. This position is ideal for those with at least six months of caregiving experience who are interested in rewarding, flexible work that fits their lifestyle. Coast Care offers above-average pay starting at $18.50 per hour for experienced caregivers, with additional compensation for on-call or stand-by shifts ranging from $21 to $23 per hour including mileage reimbursement.
The role emphasizes strong ongoing support, including dedicated Nursing Care Managers who provide guidance and mentorship to help caregivers excel in their roles. Training and professional development are integral parts of the job, ensuring that caregivers continuously enhance their skills and stay updated on best practices. The company prioritizes client-caregiver matching based on individual strengths and preferences to create rewarding and successful client relationships.
Caregivers can expect to receive weekly pay via direct deposit and benefit from health, dental, life, and vision insurance options after 90 days of employment through renowned providers such as Kaiser, Blue Shield, and Mediexcel. Paid sick time and flexible scheduling further enhance work-life balance. Additionally, Coast Care acknowledges the importance of caregiver contributions through monthly appreciation rewards and referral bonuses. The company values diversity and inclusion, welcoming applicants of all backgrounds and fostering a supportive environment where all employees feel respected and valued.
