Job Description
Philips is a global leader in health technology, dedicated to improving people's lives through meaningful innovation. The company has a rich history of advancing medical technologies and is committed to providing high-quality healthcare solutions accessible to everyone. Headquartered in the Netherlands, Philips operates worldwide, focusing on delivering improved health outcomes through a broad portfolio of products and services. Within the medical device sector, Philips continues to be at the forefront of innovation, particularly in cardiovascular care and imaging technologies.
This role is for a Sales Territory Manager specializing in Philips' VeriSight 3D ICE catheters, a revolutionary product transforming how structural heart and electrophysiology (EP) procedures are performed. The VeriSight catheter is the first intracardiac echo (ICE) catheter to miniaturize the 3D imaging technology used in transesophageal echocardiography (TEE), offering unparalleled 2D and 3D imaging capabilities. This innovation enables interventional cardiologists and electrophysiologists to conduct procedures with superior imaging, enhancing precision and patient outcomes.
As the Territory Manager for VeriSight, you will play a critical role in establishing Philips as the ICE leader within your assigned territory, which includes San Diego and Hawaii. The position is full-time with a significant travel requirement of up to 50 percent, supporting local, regional, and national customer engagements. Compensation for this role is highly competitive, with a total target earning potential ranging from $197,000 to $305,000 annually, which includes base salary, target incentives, and additional benefits such as company fleet/car privileges.
Your core responsibilities will involve building and maintaining strong relationships with key opinion leaders (KOLs), hospital stakeholders, and strategic partners. You will act as a consultative partner to customers, providing product support, education, and engagement to ensure successful adoption and continued use of Philips' innovative ICE technology. You will collaborate closely with Clinical Specialists and cross-functional Philips business segments to maximize program growth and user satisfaction.
In addition to direct sales activities, you will develop actionable business plans aligned with divisional goals, consistently analyze sales performance and market dynamics, and adapt strategies to maintain competitive advantage. Your role also includes monitoring market trends, competitive pressures, and customer challenges that may impact territory performance. You will provide regular updates and forecasts to sales management, ensuring clear communication of progress and alignment on objectives.
Philips values collaborative work environments and believes success is better achieved together. This position requires a strong self-starter with excellent time management skills, capable of managing a complex sales funnel and driving physician and staff training programs. The role demands someone with a strategic mindset, capable of working under various pressures while maintaining focus and flexibility to adapt to changing market conditions.
Candidates should reside within or near commuting distance to San Diego, with the ability and willingness to travel frequently to Hawaii and other locations as needed. This role provides an exciting opportunity to be part of a tech-forward company that puts health technology innovation at the center of its mission, seeks to improve healthcare delivery, and enhances patient care through state-of-the-art products.
