The Point of Sales Marketing Team Leader at Hilton Grand Vacations plays a critical role in enhancing business revenue and guest satisfaction. This position involves hands-on leadership and direct engagement with guests onsite to promote and sell vacation packages. The successful candidate will proactively train new hires, support sales team members in closing package transactions, and act as a key liaison between Hilton Grand Vacations and resort partners. Responsibilities also include managing guest communications, monitoring TripAdvisor feedback to contribute pertinent insights, tracking new memberships and signups, and ensuring the achievement of monthly sales targets. The role demands excellent verbal communication skills, dedication to providing best-in-class customer service, and a confident approach to building value and meeting sales goals. Job Requirements

  • 1+ year hospitality and/or client service experience
  • 1+ year retail or direct selling experience
  • proficient in Microsoft Office
  • high school/GED
  • ability to work flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays

Job Duties

  • Pro-actively trains all new hires onsite to assist department
  • provides bi-weekly email communication to Area Manager to relay feedback to business partner
  • tracks and comments on all new Honors Members and Players Club signups at location
  • supervises TripAdvisor comments to provide feedback
  • acts as liaison with Hilton Resort and HGV
  • ensures monthly location targets are met or exceeded
  • assists in closing package transactions
  • provides information and incentives to guests per local policies
  • pursues eligible guests onsite to preview HGV through mini-vacation packages
  • ensures guests meet minimum eligibility for package offers
  • completes required paperwork accurately for each sale
  • offers location-related guest services and directs guests to appropriate resort services
  • notifies manager of collateral shortages
  • reviews production reports and informs manager of challenges
  • helps train new hires onsite
  • manages welcome gift distribution
  • demonstrates outstanding verbal communication
  • dedicates to best-in-class customer service
  • confident in setting and achieving sales goals
  • applies strong problem solving and influence skills
