The Vacation Sales Ambassador Marketing Team Leader role at Hilton Grand Vacations plays a crucial part in promoting and selling vacation packages to eligible guests staying on-site. This position requires an individual who enjoys engaging with guests and possesses a strong passion for sales and customer service. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading and training new hires to excel at selling vacation packages, ensuring that the team consistently meets or exceeds monthly sales targets. This role involves direct communication with guests to inform them about vacation ownership opportunities and provide incentives according to local policies. The Team Leader will also serve as a liaison between the resort location and Hilton Grand Vacations’ corporate operations to ensure seamless business alignment.

In addition to sales duties, the Vacation Sales Ambassador Marketing Team Leader is tasked with monitoring guest feedback through platforms like Trip Advisor and providing insightful commentary to management, which helps improve both guest experience and team performance. This role oversees the accurate completion of paperwork for all transactions, manages inventory of marketing collateral, and keeps leadership informed of any challenges or opportunities within the sales operation. Excellent communication skills, problem-solving abilities, and a competitive drive to achieve sales goals are essential traits for success in this position.

Job Requirements

  • 1+ year hospitality and/or client service experience
  • 1+ year of retail or direct selling experience
  • Be proficient in Microsoft Office
  • High School/GED
  • Ability to work flexible schedule that includes evenings, weekend, and holidays

Job Duties

  • Pro-actively trains all new hires onsite to assist department
  • Provides bi-weekly email communication back to Area Manager to communicate feedback to the business partner
  • Tracks and provides commentary on all new Honors Members and/or Players Club signups at location
  • Supervises all Trip Advisor comments to contribute feedback
  • Acts as a liaison directly with Hilton Resort and HGV
  • Ensures monthly location targets are met and/or exceeded
  • Assists in helping close a package transaction for a team member
