This Sales Support Specialist position, based in Orlando, FL, is a critical role within Airgas’s retail operation. Emphasizing excellent customer service and administrative support, the Specialist will partner closely with the sales and branch teams. Responsibilities include facilitating the full order lifecycle—from entry and quotation to modifications and cancellations—ensuring real-time accuracy and timely communication. The role also focuses on building strong internal and external relationships, fostering alignment between logistics and vendor partners, and driving continuous process improvements.

With a starting base pay of $29.00 per hour complemented by quarterly incentive bonuses, this role offers an appealing compensation package. The position follows a Monday through Friday, 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. onsite schedule, supporting a collaborative team environment. Job Duties

  • Support outside sales and branch teams by providing administrative assistance including order entry and quotation generation
  • Manage the full order lifecycle including processing, modifications, and cancellations while ensuring real-time tracking accuracy
  • Monitor and resolve back-order statuses with proactive communication and formal proof of delivery
  • Work closely with logistics teams and vendors to meet customer needs with precision
  • Serve as a point of contact for internal and external customer inquiries, resolving complex issues with a focus on first-contact resolution
  • Identify opportunities to improve internal workflows for better efficiency
  • Engage in cross-training to support the Sales Support Manager and ensure team continuity
  • Research products and nurture vendor relationships to confirm availability and pricing
