Job Description
Philips is a global leader in health technology, committed to improving people’s lives through meaningful innovation. With a broad portfolio that spans diagnostic imaging, patient monitoring, and health informatics, Philips is dedicated to delivering high-quality healthcare solutions that are accessible to everyone, everywhere. Founded on the belief that every human matters, Philips continues to push boundaries in medical technology and service, ensuring healthcare professionals have the tools they need to provide exceptional patient care. The company’s culture fosters innovation, collaboration, and dedication to improving global health outcomes, making it a great place for professionals passionate about making a difference in healthcare.
The Sales Support Clinical Specialist position for the VeriSight ICE (Intracardiac Echo) in Denver, CO, represents a unique and exciting opportunity within Philips. This role is part of the newly established VeriSight sales and clinical team responsible for commercializing the revolutionary VeriSight Pro 3D ICE catheter, a cutting-edge medical device that offers advanced 2D and 3D imaging technology. This technology is designed for interventional cardiologists and electrophysiologists, transforming the way structural heart and electrophysiology procedures are performed. The VeriSight catheter miniaturizes the powerful 3D imaging typically seen in transesophageal echocardiography (TEE), placing Philips at the forefront of innovation in intracardiac echo imaging.
As a Clinical Specialist, you will be pivotal in supporting healthcare providers and allied health professionals around the VeriSight platform, providing technical and clinical expertise, systems support, and ongoing education. You will work closely with regional and territory managers as well as multiple Philips business units, including ultrasound, image-guided therapy systems, devices, training, and field services, ensuring a cohesive approach to meeting business objectives. This role is entrepreneurial and requires a hands-on approach, high clinical aptitude, and a solutions-focused selling mindset. You will become an expert in 3D ICE technology and partner with healthcare professionals to identify needs and opportunities, supporting new product evaluations, clinical trials, and educational initiatives to advance clinical knowledge and device adoption.
The ideal candidate for this role is a registered or certified cardiac sonographer with experience in intracardiac or electrophysiology clinical environments and proficient in advanced ultrasound systems such as the Philips EPIQ consoles. This role demands excellent communication skills, an entrepreneurial spirit, and the ability to engage stakeholders across clinical and operational roles effectively. You will be responsible for maximizing hospital engagement by providing pre-, intra-, and post-procedural support, ensuring comprehensive clinical education and support to drive the success of the VeriSight platform.
This full-time field role requires residing in or near Denver, Colorado, and involves significant travel within Colorado and Utah—up to 75% overnight travel. The compensation package is competitive, including a base salary and target incentives with total target earnings ranging from $154,000 to $190,000 annually plus company fleet/car. Philips also offers extensive benefits such as paid time off, 401k with company match, health savings accounts, stock purchase plans, and educational reimbursement. As an equal employment opportunity employer, Philips values diversity and inclusion and maintains a drug-free workplace. This opportunity represents a chance to be part of a transformative innovation within cardiovascular health technology and to contribute meaningfully to improving patient outcomes worldwide.
