Job Description

Philips is a global leader in health technology, dedicated to improving people's lives through meaningful innovation. With a rich history spanning over a century, Philips focuses on developing cutting-edge medical technologies that enhance patient outcomes and advance healthcare delivery. Known for its commitment to quality, innovation, and sustainability, Philips operates in more than 100 countries and strives to provide greater access to quality healthcare around the world. The company fosters a diverse and inclusive culture, empowering its employees to do the work of their lives while contributing to a healthier society.

In this role, you will join Philips as the VeriSight Intracardiac Devices Clinical Specialist, a pivotal position responsible for representing Philips' groundbreaking VeriSight Pro 3D ICE (Intracardiac Echo Catheter) technology to Interventional Cardiologists and Electrophysiologists. VeriSight represents a revolutionary advancement in structural heart and electrophysiology procedures by miniaturizing the same three-dimensional imaging technology traditionally used in transesophageal echocardiography (TEE), offering best-in-class 2D and 3D imaging for more precise and effective procedures.

Your primary responsibility will be to build, maintain, and provide exceptional technical and clinical product support, system support, and sustained education to healthcare providers and allied health professionals surrounding the VeriSight platform. This role requires close partnership and collaboration with Regional and Territory Managers, as well as multiple internal Philips segments, including Ultrasound, Image Guided Therapy Systems & Devices, Training & Education, Field Service Engineers, and Field Management. Your efforts will be crucial to ensuring alignment and coordination of activities aimed at meeting VeriSight's business objectives.

The role is highly entrepreneurial and expanding, demanding a hands-on approach, autonomy, strong initiative, and motivation to achieve both individual and shared goals. You will be expected to develop and sustain a solutions-oriented selling and educational mindset, coupled with outstanding communication skills both internally and externally. You will also exemplify Philips' shared values and contribute positively to a world-class sales culture.

You will become a recognized expert on VeriSight 3D ICE applications across multiple clinical procedure types, employing consultative education techniques to identify customer needs and support opportunities in your assigned geography in close collaboration with Regional and Territory Managers. Apart from supporting new product evaluations and providing clinical feedback, you will engage with clinical and marketing trials, registries, and educational events.

As you grow in this role, consistent self-improvement in clinical acumen, competitive product knowledge, customer relationship management, sales, and education skills will be expected. You will maximize hospital stakeholder engagement before, during, and after procedures to drive educational awareness and case support, including new program launches and physician and staff training.

This field-based position requires working predominantly outside Philips' main facilities at customer or supplier locations, with a travel commitment of up to 75% overnight within the local, regional, and national territory. You must reside within or commutable distance to Detroit to be eligible for this role.

Philips offers a competitive total target earnings package between $154,000 and $190,000 annually (comprising base salary plus target incentives), along with a company fleet/car. Additional rewards include generous paid time off, 401k matching up to 7%, a health savings account with company contributions, stock purchase plans, education reimbursement, and more. Philips believes in investing in their people and providing comprehensive benefits to support work-life balance and professional development.

Joining Philips means becoming part of a company that prioritizes equal employment opportunity, a drug-free workplace, and a commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion. If you are a self-starter with an entrepreneurial spirit, looking to contribute to innovative health technology solutions while developing your clinical and sales expertise, then this role provides an exciting opportunity to grow your career.
