Located at 110 West Troutman Parkway in Fort Collins, Colorado, this branch serves as a vital hub supplying a variety of customers including small food service operators, families, non-profit organizations, and caterers with top-tier foodservice products. We are currently seeking a Sales Service Lead Driver for our Fort Collins Gordon Restaurant Market store. This role is full-time with pay ranging from $30 to $35 per hour, depending on experience, and the position will be open through June 21, 2026. The Sales Service Lead Driver plays a critical role in representing Gordon Food Service Store through prompt, courteous, and accurate delivery of products within their assigned routes. The individual in this position operates delivery vans or box trucks, ensuring safety and professionalism while providing stellar service to customers. This role not only requires driving responsibility but also involves supporting in-store operations and mentoring new drivers to maintain high standards across the team.

The ideal candidate is punctual, detail-oriented, and skilled in building strong customer relationships. Alongside driving duties, the Sales Service Lead Driver monitors vehicle condition through daily inspections, handles customer payments securely, and manages the related paperwork efficiently. This position also emphasizes coaching and training new drivers, helping them understand company procedures, safety measures, and route details. Additionally, the Sales Service Lead Driver collaborates with store and sales management to address customer concerns effectively and participates in evaluating driver performance and route efficiencies.

This role demands physical stamina to handle lifting, pulling, and pushing products using equipment such as dollies, carts, and handheld scanners. Candidates must have previous experience in delivery roles, the ability to communicate clearly, and proficiency in basic computer skills, including Google applications. The position requires a valid driver’s license, a clean driving record, and meeting DOT physical requirements. Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • one year previous driving experience
  • one year experience in customer service or related field
  • valid unrestricted driver’s license required
  • CDL preferred
  • must have or be able to obtain a DOT physical
  • no drug or alcohol offenses in the last 3 years
  • must be 21 years of age or older

Job Qualifications

  • one year previous driving experience in a van delivery or sales service box truck driver role
  • one year experience in customer service or related field
  • valid unrestricted driver’s license required, CDL preferred

Job Duties

  • Provides superior customer service to all customers through safe, timely, and efficient deliveries of products
  • builds and maintains good customer relationships
  • accurately collects customer payment
  • safeguards company funds and follows banking policies
  • collaborates with store and sales management to communicate and resolve customer concerns
  • completes check-ins in a timely manner
  • performs daily pre/post trip inspection of vehicle and equipment
  • manages paperwork in order to complete customer pick-ups or credits
  • performs equipment checks and reports mechanical issues and damages
  • maintains cleanliness and ensures completion of routine maintenance of delivery vehicles
  • trains new drivers on company procedures, safety protocols, and route navigation
  • may assist with reports on driver performance, route efficiency, and other relevant metrics
  • may support accident follow-up ride-alongs and provide feedback to Store Manager on performance
  • accurately locates and picks customer orders in-store
  • ensures accurate and efficient processing of customer purchases through point of sale
  • ensures security of assets including cash, checks, and merchandise by following policies and procedures
  • accurately receives and merchandises products, ensuring proper rotation and product quality, end cap and planogram execution, top stock, freezer, cooler and backroom organization
  • performs other duties as assigned
