Their collection includes distinguished names such as Beaux Freres, Brooks Wines, The Eyrie Vineyards, Patricia Green Cellars, and Soter Vineyards. Additionally, Oregon Brand Management presents a diverse array of imported wines from renowned regions in Spain, Italy, and France, including notable wineries like Lopez de Heredia. Their customer base is broad and includes fine-dining restaurants, independent retailers, private clubs and golf courses, liquor stores, as well as independent and smaller chain grocery stores throughout Oregon. The company's long-standing presence and commitment to excellence have made it a respected leader in the regional wine distribution industry.
The current opening is for a motivated and organized sales professional to maintain and expand an established sales territory that covers Portland and the Willamette Valley. This full-time, commissioned role offers an exciting opportunity to work directly with a portfolio of highly regarded wines and to represent a passionate team dedicated to quality and customer satisfaction. The successful candidate will be responsible for promoting the Oregon Brand Management portfolio by developing and nurturing relationships with their account base. Responsibilities include regular presentations of wines, organizing and leading educational consumer tasting events, and maintaining clear and prompt communication regarding inventory updates and new arrivals. This position reports directly to the company owners, fostering a close-knit professional environment where contributions are valued and career growth is supported.
This role requires someone with excellent customer service skills, self-motivation, and a love for wine. The work involves engaging with diverse clientele, from restaurant and retail owners to private clubs and grocery buyers. The ability to educate customers and consumers about the wines and wine regions, especially the Willamette Valley, will be critical. Oregon Brand Management offers phone and mileage reimbursement, access to health benefits after 60 days, and an IRA plan with 3% matching, making this not just a sales job but a career with long-term benefits. Part-time positions are also available, albeit with a different benefit structure. By joining Oregon Brand Management, the successful candidate will be part of a supportive team of fine wine professionals dedicated to their craft and the success of their partners and customers.
