Job Requirements
- high school diploma or equivalent
- valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- willingness to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends
- ability to travel daily within designated sales territory
- strong interpersonal skills
- proficiency with phone and email communication
Job Qualifications
- strong foundational knowledge of fine wines
- previous experience in restaurant or retail sales
- excellent organizational and communication skills
- high work ethic and self-motivation
- ability to conduct frequent in-person visits and attend events
- wine education or certification is a plus but not required
Job Duties
- build business in the designated territories including Frederick, Northern Montgomery County, and Western Howard County
- conduct daily in-person visits to accounts
- participate in weekly evening and weekend events
- maintain consistent communication with clients via phone and email
- promote artisan wines directly imported and distributed by the company
- develop and nurture long-term relationships with restaurant and retail clients
- manage sales documentation and report on sales activities regularly
