Hyundai Southtowne, operating under the Ken Garff Automotive Group umbrella, is currently hiring for the position of Sales Receptionist. This role is pivotal in ensuring a seamless and professional customer experience from the moment a client walks into the dealership or contacts the office. The Sales Receptionist acts as the first point of contact and plays an essential role in supporting the sales team by managing communication channels, greeting customers, and facilitating inquiries and requests efficiently. This position involves handling phone calls with professionalism, directing customers appropriately, maintaining accurate records, and providing timely updates such as notifying customers when their license plates arrive. The Sales Receptionist also contributes to the overall atmosphere of the dealership by maintaining a professional appearance and embodying the company’s values in every interaction.

Job Requirements

  • Must be 18 years or older
  • Authorized to work in the U.S
  • Previous receptionist experience
  • Automotive dealership experience strongly preferred
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
  • Strong computer skills including usage of inventory control software, internet and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Valid in-state driver's license and a good driving record
  • Flexibility in schedule to accommodate business needs

Job Qualifications

  • Previous receptionist experience
  • automotive dealership experience strongly preferred
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
  • Strong computer skills including usage of inventory control software, internet and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Valid in-state driver's license and a good driving record

Job Duties

  • Answer phones in a professional manner within three rings and transfer customers promptly to appropriate destination
  • Takes messages from customer when desired person is unable to be reached or at customer request
  • Greet and accommodate walk-in customers promptly
  • provides timely, friendly, professional service
  • Provide excellent customer service by listening to customer inquiries and requests, asking questions to identify needs, and resolving customer concerns
  • Maintain a professional appearance always
  • Call customers when license plates come in and keep a license plate log to ensure accuracy
  • Other duties as assigned
