The Porter-New/Used position is an essential role within the dealership, focusing on maintaining the quality and presentation of the dealership property and vehicles, facilitating the smooth operations of vehicle sales, and ensuring exceptional customer service. This position requires hands-on involvement in keeping the vehicle lot neat and orderly, moving vehicles according to the sales managers’ directions, and adhering to dealership display standards. The job entails transporting customers and dealership personnel when needed, assisting with customer vehicle deliveries, and ensuring all vehicles on the lot and showroom are clean and well-maintained. Responsibilities also include proper placement of window stickers on newly arrived vehicles for sales display, managing vehicle pick-up and delivery to storage or other dealerships, and participating in weather-related clean-up efforts. Additional duties involve building and grounds maintenance and assistance with special projects as assigned.
