Job Requirements

  • Proven experience managing large group accounts with 125 or more peak room nights
  • Strong background in citywide, association, and national account sales
  • Established working relationships with Visit Seattle, Visit Bellevue, and other destination marketing organizations
  • Deep understanding of the local Seattle and Eastside market, including key corporate, association, and convention drivers
  • Active involvement and relationships within professional industry organizations such as HSMAI, MPI, PCMA, SGMP, and GBTA
  • Experience working with third-party planners, sourcing companies, and meeting management firms
  • Strong negotiation, presentation, and strategic account management skills
  • Ability to develop and execute account plans that drive market share and long-term revenue growth

Job Qualifications

  • Refined verbal and written communication skills
  • A minimum of 1-3 years of hotel sales or comparable experience preferred
  • Preferred selling, negotiating, business writing, and presentation skills training
