Job Requirements
- Able to work effectively and safely while subject to wet floors, temperature extremes and excessive noise
- must be able to lift up to 50 pounds in weight
- must be able to maneuver in an often tightly-quartered environment
- Hours may be extended or irregular to include nights, weekends and holidays
Job Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in hospitality, business, or a related field or equivalent industry experience
- Previous experience in catering event sales, conference services, or event planning
- Proven success in generating sales and building long-term client relationships
- Strong knowledge of catering trends, food and beverage, and event operations
- Excellent communication, presentation, and organizational skills
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, goal-driven, high-volume environment
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- experience with Delphi is preferred
Job Duties
- Generate catering and event revenue through targeted prospecting, client retention, and regional outreach
- Develop and implement sales strategies to meet or exceed quarterly and annual revenue goals
- Conduct site tours, client presentations, and lead contract negotiations
- Customize proposals based on client vision, event requirements, and budget
- Coordinate effectively with the planning team to ensure client expectations are translated into actionable event details
- Maintain accurate records within the Delphi event management system, including proposals, contracts, and specifications
