This Sales position is located at 1150 22nd St NW, Washington, District of Columbia, and offers a full-time management role with a competitive pay range of $32.69 to $42.79 per hour, including eligibility for bonuses. The role entails proactively soliciting and managing sales opportunities to build long-term, value-based relationships with customers. It involves overseeing the timely and proper turnover of business for effective service delivery, ensuring that personal sales goals are met and exceeded. The Sales professional will engage in activities such as sales calls, entertainment, familiarization trips (FAM trips), and participation in trade shows to nurture existing accounts and generate new leads.
The position requires a strong understanding of the market, including competitors' strengths and weaknesses, economic trends, and customer needs. By leveraging market insights, the Sales Manager will maximize revenue potential and close the best business opportunities tailored to location-specific goals. Additionally, the role includes operational responsibilities such as proposal generation, contract preparation, and customer correspondence to support the business booked.

Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s or associate degree in relevant field
- Minimum 1 to 3 years of experience in sales and marketing or related area
- Ability to work full time at 1150 22nd St NW, Washington DC
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in customer relationship management
- Willingness to participate in sales events and travel as needed
- Ability to meet sales targets and deadlines
Job Qualifications
- 2-year degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Hotel and Restaurant Management, or related major with 3 years of sales and marketing experience
- OR 4-year bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Hotel and Restaurant Management, or related major with 1 year of sales and marketing experience
- Proven ability to build and maintain customer relationships
- Strong understanding of market trends and competitors
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Experience in luxury hospitality preferred
Job Duties
- Proactively solicits and manages sales opportunities
- Builds and strengthens long-term customer relationships
- Develops and manages relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- Conducts sales calls, entertains customers, and participates in trade shows
- Researches and develops new business leads
- Executes operational tasks such as proposal generation and contract writing
- Ensures proper turnover to Event Management for service delivery
