The Sales Manager role focuses on taking charge of an assigned sales territory generating an estimated $15 million in annual revenues. This territory encompasses around 130 well-established retail accounts and operates within a non-commission sales framework. The successful candidate will complete a comprehensive hands-on sales training program designed to equip them with the skills and knowledge necessary for this dynamic role. The position requires overseeing sales and distribution within a specific geographic area, including merchandising duties as necessary. The role emphasizes promoting company initiatives to retail partners that include managing promotions, launching new brands, optimizing inventory, and implementing effective pricing strategies.

Engagement with retail partners is vital and involves consultancy regarding category management and leveraging business analytics to enhance performance outcomes. Sales Managers must develop innovative and data-driven strategies to improve business results through meticulous brand marketing, product placement, and strategic planning. They also design and implement systems to track and assess progress against key marketing and business metrics continually.

Leadership development is an integral part of this role, with ongoing training and impactful experiences provided to bolster individual growth and managerial competencies. Job Requirements

Job Duties

  • Handle sales and distribution within a given geography including merchandising as needed

  • Develop innovative ways to improve business performance through data analysis, brand marketing, product placement and purposeful planning
