The Sales Manager role at Hilton is a pivotal position responsible for securing group business ranging from 10 to 100 peak room nights. The role focuses on targeting accounts within the Central U.S., DMV region, Texas, entertainment, sports, government, and military markets. With over two years of sales management experience, the ideal candidate will play a key role in generating and converting new business leads, building and nurturing long-term client relationships, developing strategic sales plans tailored to market trends, and leading the entire sales process from proposal to contract negotiation and booking management.

In this role, the Sales Manager acts as the primary contact for assigned market segments, ensuring customer requirements for rooms, food and beverage, and meeting spaces are met with precision and care. The role also involves supervising and inspiring team members, providing coaching and fostering a positive, productive work environment. Job Requirements

  • Minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent
  • At least 2 years of experience in sales management
  • Experience in hospitality or related industry preferred
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • Effective negotiation and contract management skills
  • Willingness to travel as required
  • Must demonstrate integrity and a positive attitude

Job Qualifications

  • Minimum of 2 years sales management experience
  • Strong knowledge of hospitality and group sales processes
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to develop and execute strategic sales plans
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets

Job Duties

  • Generate and convert new business through research, prospecting, and leading outreach
  • Build and maintain client relationships as primary contact for assigned market segments

  • Lead end-to-end sales process including proposals, site visits, negotiations, and contract securing
  • Manage booking details ensuring accurate reservation and account information
