Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • 2-3 years of hotel group sales experience with a focus on large groups
  • strong communication and negotiation skills
  • proficiency with computer systems and software
  • ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
  • excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • willingness to travel as required

Job Qualifications

  • 2-3 years of experience in hotel group sales, with expertise in handling groups of 100 or more rooms on peak
  • exceptional negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • proven ability to exceed production goals and deliver results
  • knowledge of sales process and the ability to align sales strategies with business objectives
  • proficiency in general computer systems and Hyatt-specific tools, training provided
  • a true passion for hospitality and a results-driven mindset
  • ability to travel as needed to represent Hyatt

Job Duties

  • Proactively sell guest rooms, meeting spaces, and Hyatt services to groups of 100 or more rooms on peak
  • lead negotiations, secure contracts, and ensure favorable terms aligned with business goals
  • build new relationships and nurture existing ones with key clients, event planners, and corporate partners
  • conduct site visits, present tailored proposals, and maintain high levels of customer satisfaction
  • collaborate across teams, including marketing, events, and operations, to align sales efforts with promotional initiatives
  • provide insights through accurate sales reports and market analysis
  • represent Hyatt at client meetings, industry events, and trade shows to strengthen market presence
