Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- 2-3 years of hotel group sales experience with a focus on large groups
- strong communication and negotiation skills
- proficiency with computer systems and software
- ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
- excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- willingness to travel as required
Job Qualifications
- 2-3 years of experience in hotel group sales, with expertise in handling groups of 100 or more rooms on peak
- exceptional negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills
- proven ability to exceed production goals and deliver results
- knowledge of sales process and the ability to align sales strategies with business objectives
- proficiency in general computer systems and Hyatt-specific tools, training provided
- a true passion for hospitality and a results-driven mindset
- ability to travel as needed to represent Hyatt
Job Duties
- Proactively sell guest rooms, meeting spaces, and Hyatt services to groups of 100 or more rooms on peak
- lead negotiations, secure contracts, and ensure favorable terms aligned with business goals
- build new relationships and nurture existing ones with key clients, event planners, and corporate partners
- conduct site visits, present tailored proposals, and maintain high levels of customer satisfaction
- collaborate across teams, including marketing, events, and operations, to align sales efforts with promotional initiatives
- provide insights through accurate sales reports and market analysis
- represent Hyatt at client meetings, industry events, and trade shows to strengthen market presence
