Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 1-3 years of experience in hotel sales or a related field
- Proficiency in computer systems and software
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Availability to attend meetings and participate in events
- Willingness to travel occasionally as needed
Job Qualifications
- A true desire to satisfy the needs of others in a fast paced environment
- Refined verbal and written communication skills
- A minimum of 1-3 years of hotel sales or comparable experience preferred
- Proficient in general computer knowledge
- Prefer completion of a Hyatt Corporate Management Training Program or equivalent training
- Prefer training in selling, negotiating, business writing, and presentation skills
Job Duties
- Sell guest rooms, meeting space, and Hyatt services to customer groups
- Manage accounts and conduct site inspections
- Solicit and generate new business opportunities
- Prepare and present effective sales proposals
- Maintain organized documentation and reports
- Utilize Hyatt systems and coordinate customer service requirements
- Participate in and lead event, sales, and staff meetings
