Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 1-3 years experience in hotel sales or similar field
- strong communication and interpersonal skills
- ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- proficiency with computers and sales software
- ability to conduct site inspections and client presentations
- willingness to participate in ongoing sales training
Job Qualifications
- A true desire to satisfy the needs of others in a fast paced environment
- refined verbal and written communication skills
- 1-3 years of hotel sales or comparable experience preferred
- proficiency in general computer knowledge
- completion of a Hyatt Corporate Management Training Program or equivalent training preferred
- training in selling, negotiating, business writing, and presentation skills preferred
Job Duties
- Sell guest rooms, meeting space, and Hyatt services to groups
- manage accounts and client relationships
- conduct site inspections
- prospect and generate new business
- prepare and present effective proposals
- maintain organized documentation and reports using Hyatt systems
- coordinate customer service requirements
- support the Event Planning Manager with repeat clients
