Job Description
Hilton is a globally recognized leader in the hospitality industry, renowned for its dedication to providing exceptional guest experiences and fostering a workplace culture that supports its team members. With over a century of history and more than 3 billion guests served worldwide, Hilton has established itself as a premium hotel brand with a commitment to innovation, quality, and community engagement. The company features a suite of world-class brands and prides itself on an award-winning culture that has earned repeated recognition on the World’s Best Workplaces list by Great Place to Work and Fortune. Hilton’s foundation is built on the enduring vision to fill the earth with the light and warmth of hospitality, making it not only a great place for guests to stay but also a remarkable place for team members to grow and develop their careers.
Joining Hilton as a Sales Manager means becoming a vital part of this respected hospitality brand where your role significantly influences the overall guest experience through the sales process. As a Sales Manager, you will engage in activities that go beyond traditional sales. You will be responsible for generating and converting new business, researching market trends, identifying prospects, and qualifying leads through proactive outreach and database mining. Your goal will be to drive group sales that exceed lead generation targets. You will nurture and maintain relationships with existing clients while developing new accounts to boost room revenue and overall profitability. The role demands strategic thinking where you will analyze hotel and market trends to develop targeted sales plans and marketing initiatives aimed at meeting sales goals effectively.
Moreover, you will lead the entire sales process from preparing proposals, conducting site visits, negotiating terms, to securing contracts tailored to meet clients’ needs while maximizing revenue. Managing booking details—including coordinating customer requirements for room bookings, food and beverage, and meeting spaces—will be essential to ensure all information is correctly entered into the hotel’s sales management system. This position also involves inspiring and developing your sales team through supervision, performance monitoring, coaching, and fostering a positive, productive work environment. Hilton values core principles such as hospitality, integrity, leadership, teamwork, ownership, and urgency—qualities that are embodied in this role.
Hilton is committed to supporting your wellbeing by offering unmatched perks and benefits like deeply discounted travel, an employee stock purchase program, paid parental leave, personalized caregiving support, crisis concierge services, mental health resources, generous paid time off, comprehensive health and welfare benefits, and financial security programs. Hilton’s supportive and inclusive culture means you join more than just a company; you join a community that values your growth and contributions. Whether you are beginning your career or seeking new opportunities, Hilton provides a nurturing environment to develop your skills and advance your career in hospitality.
