The hotel boasts 198 guestrooms, many of which provide breathtaking views of the Manhattan skyline. Guests can enjoy a range of excellent amenities including an on-site restaurant, a well-equipped fitness center, and 1,000 square feet of versatile meeting space designed to cater to diverse event requirements. The hotel’s prime location combined with its comprehensive facilities makes it a pivotal establishment for group bookings and corporate events within the vibrant Jersey City and NYC metropolitan areas.
The Sales Manager role at DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel & Suites Jersey City is a dynamic, fast-paced position ideal for motivated professionals eager to advance their careers in hospitality sales. This position demands a candidate with at least one year of hotel group sales experience who is ready to hit the ground running with an effective solicitation plan to increase the hotel’s market share. The Sales Manager will be instrumental in researching, soliciting, and generating new leads and booking group business, working diligently to maximize room revenue streams. This role requires exceptional communication skills, the ability to build and maintain strong customer relationships, and a strategic mindset to analyze market trends and design impactful marketing initiatives. With an emphasis on a disciplined sales approach and customer-centric solutions, this position serves as a critical revenue driver and relationship builder for the hotel.
Flexibility is a key component of this role, with office hours from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM, but availability during weekends and holidays to accommodate valued group clients is necessary. The salary range for the Sales Manager position is $68,000 to $78,000 annually, based on experience and qualifications, alongside eligibility to participate in the Hilton Sales Incentive Plan. Working at Hilton means becoming part of a global hospitality leader that prioritizes team member wellbeing and career development through a variety of innovative programs and benefits. The Sales Manager will not only develop targeted business strategies but also represent the hotel at industry events, engage in outside sales calls, and participate in tradeshows—activities that contribute to the vibrant, goal-driven culture at the doubletree franchise. Candidates passionate about sales and driven by results will find an excellent platform for growth and professional achievement in this stimulating role.
