Job Qualifications

  • Minimum one year of experience in hotel group sales
  • Proven track record in closing sales
  • Excellent communication and networking skills
  • Degree-level qualification in a relevant field preferred
  • Strong understanding of customer needs and market dynamics
  • Ability to analyze and develop business strategies based on market trends
  • Knowledge of the local hospitality market
  • Passion for sales and achieving targets

Job Duties

  • Research, solicit and generate new leads for group opportunities through database research and proactive sales efforts
  • Represent the hotel in the development of market segments and new customer relationships while maintaining existing accounts
  • Develop a business strategy by analyzing hotel and market trends and implementing marketing initiatives
  • Apply strong sales skills to create customer value and differentiate Hilton from competitors
  • Engage with Hilton Worldwide Sales, Convention Bureau, and Intermediaries to retain customers and secure new business
  • Develop and execute plans for outside sales calls, industry tradeshows, and customer events
  • Conduct site inspections and prepare business proposals and contracts
