Job Duties
- Research, solicit and generate new leads for group opportunities through database research and proactive sales efforts
- Represent the hotel in the development of market segments and new customer relationships while maintaining existing account relations
- Develop business strategies by analyzing historical, current and future market trends, implementing marketing initiatives
- Apply strong sales skills to create customer value and differentiate Hilton from the competition
- Demonstrate mastery of prospecting process by identifying potential customers and preparing call strategies
- Engage with Hilton Worldwide Sales, Convention Bureau and intermediaries to retain customers and secure new business
- Conduct site inspections and coordinate customer specifications via lead management system
- Maintain up to date pipeline of business opportunities
- Develop and execute plans for outside sales calls, tradeshows and customer events
