Job Description
Pinnacle Live is a premium in-house audiovisual (AV) partner that delivers exceptional live event experiences at some of the world’s most prestigious venues, including the iconic Fontainebleau Miami Beach. Dedicated to elevating live event expectations, Pinnacle Live expertly balances big-picture problem-solving with boots-on-the-ground execution to provide bespoke AV solutions tailored for in-person, virtual, and hybrid meetings and live events. With a commitment to collaboration and innovation, they empower employees to tackle challenges and deliver unforgettable hospitality and live event experiences that set new industry standards. Their work culture fosters diversity, equity, inclusion, belonging, and mutual respect, ensuring a welcoming environment for all team members, clients, and partners.
The Sales Manager role at Pinnacle Live is a critical position responsible for driving sales efforts at their assigned venue. The manager acts as the front line of the venue’s sales team, managing the complete sales process from lead generation to contract execution. This includes preparing scope of work (SOW), quotes, proposals, and contracts tailored to the needs of venue leads requiring AV products and services. Using the company’s proprietary sales process, the Sales Manager moves leads through stages such as connection, pre-qualification, solution design, and contract finalization. A significant aspect of this role is building strong relationships within the hotel sales team and Pinnacle Live internal teams while representing the company during site visits, planning meetings, and client interactions.
The ideal Sales Manager candidate will have a bachelor’s degree in business or a related field or equivalent experience, along with at least two years of customer service or sales experience, preferably in the hospitality industry. Knowledge of CRM platforms and a passion for technology and innovation are essential, alongside experience or familiarity with production, staging, scenic, décor, rigging, electrical, and exhibit aspects related to live events. The role demands a highly skilled communicator with outstanding interpersonal and relationship building abilities, exceptional project management skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. The Sales Manager also needs a customer service mindset that exceeds expectations, superior organizational and time management skills, and strong business communication capabilities.
Working at Pinnacle Live offers attractive benefits including performance-based incentive plans on top of a base salary, generous paid time off including holidays and sick/personal days, a 401k retirement plan with company matching, and comprehensive insurance coverage including health, vision, and dental insurance. Pinnacle Live actively promotes diversity and inclusion, providing reasonable accommodations to individuals with disabilities and fostering an environment where every person’s unique contributions are valued. This is a full-time role based at the Fontainebleau Miami Beach venue, offering the opportunity to engage with high-profile events and a dynamic professional community dedicated to delivering the gold standard of customer experiences in live event production and hospitality.
