Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in hospitality sales preferred
- Ability to work flexible hours including industry events
- Strong negotiation and closing skills
- Proactive and self-motivated work ethic
- Proficiency with sales documentation systems
- Ability to represent the hotel professionally at industry events
Job Qualifications
- Experience in hotel sales or related sales and marketing roles
- Strong organizational and planning skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a team environment
- Proficiency with sales tracking systems such as Delphi
- Customer-focused with a commitment to service excellence
- Understanding of hotel industry and event space sales
Job Duties
- Foster business with proactive and reactive sales efforts
- Provide excellent customer service to clients with speed and efficiency in returning calls and bookings
- Plan proactively and use organizational skills and pricing strategies for department efficiency
- Follow through on details to accounts and hotel departments
- Represent the hotel professionally at all industry events
- Collaborate with third-party booking sites, revenue management, and city convention centers to maximize key events
- Meet and exceed monthly revenue and sales call goals
- Document all sales activities in the sales system
- Assist in hotel operations as needed
