The Sales Manager role at Hostaway is a fully remote position focused on leading and expanding the sales team targeting the diverse and dynamic North American (NAM) market. This role plays a critical part in driving revenue growth, strategizing sales plans, and managing a multilingual, distributed team of Account Executives. The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker with a proven track record in SaaS sales, preferably within the vacation rental or hospitality technology sectors. Success in this role involves not only meeting sales targets but also developing a positive and high-performance team culture. Acting as a key leader within Hostaway’s global sales organization, the NAM Sales Manager is responsible for team leadership, pipeline management, strategic execution, and cross-functional collaboration with marketing, product, and customer success teams. This role requires the candidate to be located in the EST or CST time zones to ensure seamless communication and collaboration with peers and internal customers. Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in business marketing or related field preferred
  • Minimum 5 years of sales experience with at least 2 years in sales management
  • Proven experience in SaaS or PropTech sales
  • Ability to manage and motivate a remote sales team
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proficiency in CRM and sales engagement tools
  • Strong analytical and data-driven decision-making abilities
  • Must be located within the North America EST or CST time zones
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently in a fully remote environment

Job Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in a sales role with at least 2-3 years in a sales management or team lead position preferably within a B2B SaaS environment
  • Deep understanding of the diverse business cultures languages and market dynamics across the NAM region
  • Demonstrated success in managing and motivating a fully remote geographically distributed sales team
  • Proficient with modern sales tools including CRM software e.g. Salesforce HubSpot sales engagement platforms and communication tools
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to use data to drive decisions forecast accurately and manage team performance
  • Exceptional verbal written and interpersonal communication skills
  • Proactive organized and able to thrive in a fast-paced autonomous remote work environment
  • Proven experience in the vacation rental property management or hospitality technology industry is a bonus

Job Duties

  • Lead mentor and scale a high-performing team of remote Account Executives across the NAM region
  • Foster a positive collaborative and results-driven culture
  • Set clear sales targets and KPIs
  • Conduct regular pipeline reviews 1-on-1s and coaching sessions
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive sales strategy for the NAM market
  • Take ownership of the NAM sales pipeline from lead to close
  • Continuously refine and improve sales processes tools and methodologies
  • Work closely with Marketing Customer Success and Product teams to ensure alignment and provide market feedback
  • Serve as an expert on the NAM vacation rental market staying informed about industry trends competitor activities and customer needs
  • Deliver accurate and timely sales forecasts reports and performance analysis to senior leadership
