Job Description
Iconic InterContinental Hotel on the Plaza is seeking an experienced and results-driven Sales Manager to lead sales initiatives for the hotel, representing the company to clients, the public, government agencies, and other external partners. The Sales Manager is responsible for developing and executing sales strategies to drive business growth, exceed revenue goals, and deliver outstanding customer service.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in hospitality, marketing, business, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
- minimum 2 years of sales experience, preferably in the hospitality industry
- experience in hotel sales or group/event planning is a plus
- strong communication, negotiation, and closing skills
- high level of professionalism and customer service orientation
- proficient in understanding client needs and presenting compelling proposals
- ability to multitask, prioritize, and work effectively under pressure
- strong organization and time-management skills
- proficiency with sales tools, CRM systems, and Microsoft Office Suite
- ability to travel locally and occasionally overnight as needed
- compliance with company policies, including dress code and guest service standards
- knowledge of hotel amenities, services, and systems
