Job Description

The hotel is a well-established hospitality venue known for providing exceptional services to its diverse clientele, including corporate, group, and leisure customers. As a dynamic player in the hospitality industry, the hotel offers premium accommodations, versatile event spaces, and bespoke catering services designed to meet the unique needs of each guest. With its strategic location and commitment to excellence, the hotel continues to attract a broad spectrum of clients from business travelers to tourists and event planners.

The Sales Manager role within this esteemed hotel is pivotal to driving revenue growth and maintaining robust client relationships. This full-time position focuses on the identification and development of new business opportunities while nurturing existing accounts to maximize sales across rooms, events, and catering services. The Sales Manager acts as a key liaison between clients and internal teams including operations and events to ensure the highest level of customer satisfaction and seamless execution of services.

The ideal candidate for this role will have a strong background in hotel sales or hospitality account management, specializing in corporate, MICE (Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, and Exhibitions), or leisure market segments. Essential responsibilities include crafting and implementing effective sales strategies, actively prospecting to secure new business, and managing detailed client relationships to foster repeat business and long-term partnerships. The Sales Manager is also responsible for conducting site inspections and client meetings, preparing tailored proposals, and negotiating contracts within the hotel's pricing and revenue management frameworks.

In addition, the Sales Manager plays a critical role in account management by maintaining accurate records via CRM systems, coordinating with reservations, banquet, and operations teams, and ensuring smooth delivery of group and event bookings. Follow-up after events is crucial to evaluate client satisfaction and to identify future sales opportunities.

Reporting and strategic planning are integral to the role, with the Sales Manager analyzing market trends and competitive activity to uncover new business prospects, preparing detailed sales performance reports, and contributing to the hotel's annual sales and marketing plans, as well as budgeting and forecasting activities.

Collaboration is essential, working closely with marketing to develop promotional materials and campaigns, assisting in training junior sales staff, and partnering with the revenue management team to optimize pricing and inventory control. This comprehensive set of responsibilities requires a professional, organized, and motivated individual capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Overall, this role is designed for a sales professional passionate about hospitality sales, skilled in client relationship management, and dedicated to contributing to the ongoing success and growth of the hotel. This opportunity combines the excitement of a customer-facing sales role with strategic business development tasks, making it ideal for someone looking to advance their career within a reputable hotel or hospitality company.
