Aimbridge Hospitality is an independent franchisee owning and operating a collection of select service hotels. Operating under the franchisee model separate from Marriott International, Aimbridge Hospitality independently manages all aspects of hotel employment practices including hiring, firing, compensation, staffing, benefits, and discipline. As a recognized leader in the hospitality management industry, Aimbridge Hospitality emphasizes strong local market engagement and operational excellence at its properties. The portfolio under this particular opportunity includes four select service hotels located in Austin, Texas, providing guests with quality accommodations and a welcoming atmosphere.
The Area Sales Manager role is pivotal in driving the revenue and market presence of the assigned hotel collection. This full-time management position focuses on developing and securing new business accounts by implementing strategic sales initiatives and maintaining strong client relationships across multiple segments, including Leisure, Small Meetings, Events, Religious, Fraternal, and Military (SMERF), Business Travel, and Group bookings. The Area Sales Manager collaborates closely with Directors of Sales and hotel leadership teams to achieve assigned sales targets and market share goals.
This position demands a proactive approach to soliciting new accounts through client meetings, sales tours, and hospitality engagements, ensuring consistent growth in hotel occupancy and revenue. The role also requires staying abreast of market trends and competitor activities to seize emerging opportunities and adapt sales strategies accordingly. Candidates will be expected to exhibit excellent communication and negotiation skills, independently managing multiple tasks while maintaining a customer-centric focus.
Employees in this role will be involved in community and industry networking efforts to bolster local presence and brand awareness. The Area Sales Manager may also participate in special promotional events like sales blitzes and other direct sales initiatives. The role calls for high visibility in the local market and requires adherence to company policies, sales standards, and metrics established by Aimbridge Hospitality.
Compensation for the Area Sales Manager is competitive and commensurate with experience. Additionally, a daily pay option is available after the initial waiting period. This role is located at the 4415 S Interstate 35 location in Austin, Texas, and is not remote.
