This hospitality firm operates a diverse portfolio of properties and prides itself on fostering an associate-first culture that emphasizes growth, balance, and diversity. With a strong focus on creating a great place to work for everyone, Concord Hospitality invests in its team members by providing comprehensive training, development opportunities, and a supportive work environment. This dedication has made Concord a distinguished name in the hotel industry and a preferred employer among professionals in hospitality.
As a Sales Manager at a Concord Hospitality property, you play a vital role in the success of the hotel by developing and growing business through multiple sales channels such as direct sales, marketing initiatives, telemarketing, direct mail campaigns, and property tours. Your core responsibility will be to increase revenue by attracting new clients and maintaining relationships with existing customers for both guest rooms and event spaces. This is an essential position that combines leadership, strategic planning, customer service, and teamwork to achieve dynamic sales goals.
The role requires you to be a Concord Leader who inspires greatness within your team by encouraging and supporting team members to reach their full potential. You will create a positive work environment known as a Great Place to Work, where integrity, transparency, respect, and professionalism guide your leadership style. Caring for your team and their families is part of your responsibility, demonstrating that Concord’s values extend beyond business into personal well-being.
Your day-to-day responsibilities will involve fostering new and existing business through proactive and reactive sales efforts while delivering excellent customer service with timely responses to client inquiries and bookings. You will plan and organize sales strategies, keeping pricing awareness in mind to promote departmental efficiency. A thorough follow-through on client details as well as coordinated collaboration with internal departments will ensure seamless service delivery. Furthermore, representing the hotel professionally at industry events and working with partners such as third-party booking sites, revenue management teams, and city convention centers will be critical to maximizing key city-wide happenings.
In this fast-paced role, meeting and exceeding monthly revenue and sales call goals is paramount. You will also be required to document all sales activities in a customer relationship management (CRM) system like Delphi, allowing for effective tracking and future reference. As a team player, you will support the overall operations and success of the hotel by aligning your sales efforts with the hotel’s broader goals.
The salary range for the Sales Manager position is competitive, falling between $52,655.64 and $65,819.55, reflecting the level of responsibility and expertise required. Concord Hospitality offers a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision insurance, life insurance, short/long-term disability options, a 401(k) plan with company match, tuition assistance, discounted room rates at Concord-managed hotels, and numerous training and career advancement opportunities. Joining Concord means becoming part of a company that values its people and is dedicated to fostering an inclusive and rewarding work environment.
