Job Description

PAH Management is a Dallas-based hotel ownership and management company with a strong presence across five states. The company operates 11 select-service properties under some of the most recognized hospitality brands, including Marriott, Hilton, and Hyatt. Unlike many hotel management companies, PAH Management actually owns and operates its assets, giving their team members a unique opportunity to have real influence in decision-making processes and business outcomes. This independent ownership model empowers their Sales Managers with direct access to leadership, enabling them to play a pivotal role in shaping each property's performance and success. The company prides itself on a culture that puts associates first and strives to become America’s preferred hotel management company by fostering professional growth, inclusivity, and outstanding service values.

The Sales Manager position at the Hampton Inn Fort Myers represents an exciting opportunity for a motivated sales professional passionate about hospitality and business development. Fort Myers is a vibrant, growing market characterized by strong corporate, leisure, and extended-stay demand, making it fertile ground for sales success. The Sales Manager is the primary revenue driver at this property, responsible for cultivating and expanding the account base across all relevant market segments: corporate transient, group, government, and extended stay. This role requires a self-starter with excellent prospecting, negotiation, and closing skills who understands the importance of relationship-building and maintaining stellar guest experiences. This individual will collaborate closely with the General Manager to optimize occupancy rates and maximize revenue per available room (RevPAR), utilizing market insights and proactive sales strategies.

The role involves a dynamic mix of business development, account management, and revenue strategy, ensuring that sales efforts align with property goals and brand standards. Responsibilities include soliciting new business, managing a diverse portfolio of accounts, conducting property tours, responding to sales inquiries, and participating in local community and business organizations to enhance the hotel's market share. Additionally, the Sales Manager will partner with the General Manager to develop and execute annual sales plans, monitor competitive activity, and maintain current knowledge of revenue management principles to inform pricing decisions. This integrative approach ensures that efforts not only attract new clients but also foster loyalty and repeat business by delivering exceptional guest service. The position calls for flexibility, including working occasional evenings and weekends to meet business demands, and requires a valid driver's license due to local travel needs.

Successful candidates will bring at least two years of hotel sales experience, ideally within select-service or extended-stay environments, and a proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales goals. The company highly values strong communication skills, proficiency with property management systems and CRM tools, a hunter mentality for sales, and the ability to work collaboratively within a team environment. Preferred qualifications include Hilton brand experience, established corporate market relationships within the Fort Myers area, and a bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Business, Marketing, or a related field. PAH Management offers a competitive salary and comprehensive benefits package, including performance-based bonuses, medical and dental insurance, disability coverage, life insurance options, paid time off, retirement plans, and unique hotel stay perks through their partner brands. Moreover, educational reimbursement and a manager-in-training program are available to encourage ongoing development. PAH Management is an equal opportunity employer dedicated to diversity and inclusion, making it an outstanding employer of choice in the hotel management industry.
