The Sales Manager role at The Capital Grille plays a critical part in driving business growth and enhancing guest engagement through innovative sales strategies. This full-time position, offering a salary ranging from $64,000 to $75,000 per year, involves executing comprehensive sales plans aimed at private dining and large party bookings, as well as community marketing initiatives that elevate the restaurant's local presence. The Sales Manager leads the Host/Sales department, sets the standard for excellent customer interaction, and ensures operational efficiency aligned with Darden's core values.

Reporting directly to the Managing Partner, the Sales Manager partners closely with the Executive Chef and other key staff members to flawlessly plan and execute private events to uphold the highest culinary and service standards. This role requires a dynamic individual who excels in client relationship management, understands the nuances of the local market, and is adept at team leadership and operational oversight. By fostering strong collaborations within all levels of the restaurant, the Sales Manager significantly impacts meeting and exceeding sales targets, while enhancing the overall guest experience. Job Requirements

  • Outside sales experience
  • 1+ years management or supervisory experience in restaurant, hotel, retail, or general business
  • 2+ years casual dining or full-service restaurant management preferred
  • Strong working knowledge of the community trade area
  • Stable job history which demonstrates upward career progression
