Job Qualifications
- bachelor’s degree in hospitality management, business, marketing or related field
- proven experience in hotel sales and marketing with a track record of revenue achievement
- strong leadership and team management skills
- excellent communication, negotiation and presentation abilities
- proficiency with hotel management systems, sales software and marketing analytics tools
- in-depth knowledge of local and regional hospitality markets
Job Duties
- develop and execute comprehensive sales plans targeting various market segments
- lead the sales team in identifying new business and achieving revenue targets
- manage the hotel’s online presence including website, social media and OTAs
- analyze market trends and guest feedback for improvement opportunities
- monitor sales performance and provide regular reports
- collaborate with departments for group events and conventions coordination
- work with revenue management to optimize pricing strategies and maximize revenue
- implement yield management practices
- monitor competitive pricing and adjust strategies
- cultivate strong client and partner relationships
- attend industry events for networking and trend knowledge
- manage sales and marketing budget
- conduct financial analysis of campaigns
- recruit, train and lead sales and marketing team
- provide coaching and performance evaluations
- foster a collaborative and motivated work environment
