Job Description

Olympia Hospitality is a reputable and dynamic hospitality company renowned for creating meaningful experiences through hospitality excellence and a supportive work culture. With a commitment to continuous improvement, accountability, concern for others, and trust, Olympia Hospitality fosters a collaborative and integrity-driven environment. The company recognizes the importance of nurturing its employees' growth and wellbeing, positioning itself as more than just a workplace — it is a community where every team member is valued and encouraged to thrive. Olympia Hospitality operates with a family-first philosophy, dedicated to supporting health, wellness, and career development while promoting work-life balance. They emphasize creating a culture where success is celebrated, growth is ongoing, and collaboration drives the achievement of shared goals.

The current opportunity is for a vital role responsible for managing group rooms and catering business to achieve the highest level of guest satisfaction. The position involves detailing, servicing, and delivering excellent client service to groups, events, and catering operations, ensuring that clients' needs are met with precision and care. The successful candidate will be expected to develop strong relationships with clients, upsell additional services, and manage client accounts from prospecting through to detailed service delivery. This role may also involve calling on new accounts to expand the business portfolio, emphasizing both sales acumen and customer service expertise.

This is a full-time position offering a competitive rate of $28.85 hourly, translating to an annual salary of approximately $60,000, along with an annual bonus of up to 20% of the base salary paid quarterly. Candidates with hotel sales, catering sales, or other pertinent hospitality experience are preferred, particularly those with supervisory or management experience. A college degree or an equivalent combination of education and work experience is desirable. Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and proficiency with Delphi.fdc software are considered advantageous for this role.

Olympia Hospitality actively promotes a diverse and inclusive workplace, ensuring equal opportunity for all applicants regardless of race, color, religion, age, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, disability, genetic information, protected veteran status, or any other legally protected characteristics. This commitment underlines their dedication to creating an environment where every employee is respected, supported, and empowered.

Beyond the job responsibilities, Olympia Hospitality offers a comprehensive benefits package aimed at supporting employees holistically. Health coverage includes up to 80% contribution towards individual health plans, affordable dental and vision insurance, along with options for FSA and HSA plans. Financial security is bolstered through a 401K retirement plan with a discretionary annual match. Employees also benefit from paid group term life insurance for select positions, short-term disability insurance with shared cost, and optional employee-paid life insurance. Work-life balance is prioritized with a robust paid time off program and seven paid holidays annually. In addition, the earned wage access program provides employees with quick access to their earnings when needed.

Employee support extends beyond traditional benefits, featuring an Employee Assistance Program (EAP), sober support network, and the organization’s commitment to being a recovery-friendly workplace. Travel enthusiasts will appreciate exclusive hotel travel discounts available to team members, with some benefits varying by property location.

Choosing to build a career at Olympia Hospitality means joining a values-driven organization where your professional success and personal wellbeing matter.
