Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • prior sales experience, preferably in hospitality
  • excellent communication skills
  • ability to work flexible shifts
  • valid driver’s license
  • proficiency in using sales and CRM software
  • ability to travel locally for sales calls

Job Duties

  • Help contribute to overall success of the hotel
  • create and implement sales plans that drive measurable incremental occupancy
  • increase average rate
  • increase volume
  • manage local sales efforts by conducting outside sales calls
  • assist in developing packages and promotions to build business
  • develop and maintain relationships with community and civic organizations
  • maintain excellent knowledge of local competition and industry trends
  • ensure efficient completion of daily assignments in a timely manner
