Job Description
Springhill Suites is a renowned hospitality brand recognized for its commitment to providing hospitality experiences where guests feel supported, valued, and at home. As part of the Marriott International family, Springhill Suites operates with a core philosophy centered around kindness, connection, and purposeful growth. This hotel chain places significant importance on fostering an inclusive and engaging workplace culture where every team member is seen as more than just an employee — they are an essential part of a meaningful community. The brand emphasizes open communication, genuine hospitality, and personal development as foundational pillars, helping staff to grow professionally and personally within the company. Embracing high standards, Springhill Suites cultivates a collaborative environment where individuals are not only encouraged to excel but also supported by their teammates. Stepping into the role of Sales Manager at Springhill Suites means becoming a pivotal contributor to the hotel's success. This hands-on role demands a proactive approach in shaping and implementing dynamic sales strategies aimed at driving incremental occupancy rates, boosting average daily rates, and increasing overall sales volume. Beyond sales planning, the Sales Manager is entrusted with managing local sales efforts through regular outside sales calls, fostering partnerships with community and civic organizations, and maintaining strong relationships that enhance the hotel's standing and reputation within the local market. Understanding the competitive landscape is a vital part of this role, as staying informed about local competition and relevant industry trends informs smart sales tactics and promotional offers. The Sales Manager also takes a lead role in developing attractive packages and promotions designed to attract new business and maximize revenue opportunities. The flexibility of work hours is an important facet of this position, requiring the ability to work varied shifts, including some outside traditional business hours to meet the needs of clients and the hotel operations. Exceptional communication skills are essential to effectively collaborate with internal teams and the community, ensuring all sales initiatives are executed with clarity and professionalism. Joining Springhill Suites means entering a workplace that champions career growth with competitive pay and bonus structures, comprehensive health insurance options, earned sick and vacation time, and a robust 401k matching program. Employees benefit from a friendly yet professional work atmosphere that promotes a positive work-life balance, incentives such as time and a half pay for working holidays, and a generous referral program. As part of this team, Sales Managers are invited to grow their careers in an environment where hospitality truly feels like home, supported by a leadership team that cares deeply about the success and well-being of its employees. This opportunity offers both a meaningful role and an inviting culture where commitment is met with recognition and pathways for advancement.
