The role of Sales Manager is pivotal within the hotel operations team, charged with managing accounts to achieve guest satisfaction and drive all facets of hotel revenue. Job Requirements
- Associate’s or bachelor’s degree in hospitality or related industry preferred
- Proven track record in sales required
- Previous hospitality sales experience preferred
- Ability to work varied schedules including holidays and weekends

- Ability to travel locally between hotel and client locations

Job Qualifications

Job Duties
- Interview, select, train, schedule, coach and support associates ensuring they perform according to brand and hotel standards
- Maximize revenue by selling all facets of the hotel to previous, current and potential clients
- Use professional sales techniques to negotiate terms and conditions satisfying customer requirements
- Manage accounts ensuring solicitation and closing are complete and documented
- Coordinate departments participation in servicing accounts
- Maintain hotel relationships with key accounts to increase customer satisfaction and revenue
- Develop and conduct persuasive verbal sales presentations to prospective clients
- Articulate and leverage hotel benefits to close sales opportunities
- Travel locally to conduct outside calls, promote the hotel and review competition
- Represent the hotel at trade shows
- Follow sustainability guidelines related to EarthView program
- Perform other duties as requested by management
