Job Description
Our esteemed hotel is dedicated to providing a world-class hospitality experience, blending exceptional guest service with outstanding facilities. Known for its vibrant atmosphere and impeccable standards, the hotel caters to a diverse clientele including business travelers, tourists, and event organizers. Situated in a prime location, our establishment offers not only premium accommodations but also a variety of amenities that ensure memorable stays for every guest. With an emphasis on both comfort and convenience, the hotel thrives on cultivating a positive work environment where collaboration and professional growth are highly encouraged. We pride ourselves on our commitment to excellence and our continuous pursuit of enhancing guest satisfaction through innovative services and dedicated team efforts.
We are currently seeking a highly motivated Sales Manager to join our dynamic sales department. The Sales Manager will play a critical role in maximizing room sales and profit margins by executing aggressive and strategic sales initiatives in close coordination with hotel operations. This full-time position offers a competitive starting salary of $70,304 per year plus bonus opportunities, reinforcing our commitment to attract top talent to drive business growth. The core responsibility of the Sales Manager is to aggressively solicit new business via various channels including outside sales calls, inside appointments, telephone outreach, and direct mail campaigns. This role demands approximately 80 percent of the work time to be dedicated to active sales solicitation, emphasizing proactive engagement with potential clients to bolster room occupancy and generate increased revenue.
The Sales Manager will collaborate closely with the Director of Sales to develop comprehensive annual marketing plans that effectively target key market segments. Proposals must be promptly sent to leads fitting the hotel's profile and followed up diligently to convert tentative interest into definite bookings. The role also involves maintaining meticulous records of client requirements related to room blocks, suites, event spaces, and related services to ensure seamless coordination with the catering and operations teams. Achieving and maintaining sales quotas set by the Director of Sales is paramount, coupled with a sustained focus on customer satisfaction and guest needs.
In addition to strategic sales activities, this role requires comprehensive weekly reporting of sales activities, including call reports and itineraries. Success in this position hinges on superb communication and interpersonal skills, a high degree of professionalism, and a commitment to fostering a respectful and positive culture among colleagues and guests alike. The Sales Manager must be adaptable to varying schedules and ready to meet the challenges of a high-demand, dynamic work environment. This is an excellent career opportunity for an ambitious individual seeking to advance in hospitality sales within a supportive and growth-oriented company.
Beyond the role, the hotel offers a robust array of benefits including a positive company culture, generous bonus programs, paid parental leave, tuition reimbursement, and various wellness and professional development initiatives. We prioritize employee well-being and career progression, encouraging our team members to develop their skills and ascend to higher-level positions within the company while enjoying a supportive and engaging workplace.
