The position involves negotiating group and local corporate accounts, conducting site inspections and property tours for prospective clients, and maintaining ongoing communication with both local and remote clients through weekly sales calls. Understanding the local market, competitive landscape, and economic trends is essential to developing strategic sales initiatives that capitalize on the hotel’s strengths and opportunities.
Your responsibilities will also include tracking all sales activities using specific software tools to ensure precise data management and analysis. Collaboration with internal stakeholders, such as marketing and operations teams, is crucial to ensure seamless execution of client requirements and successful revenue generation. The Sales Manager will contribute to marketing programs and promotions designed to increase sales and introduce innovative products or services. Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or relevant discipline desired
- 1-3 years of experience in a hotel, preferably in sales or operations role
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficient in MS Office suite and related software
- Valid drivers' license and a driving record that meets the company's insurance requirements

Job Duties
- Selling and negotiating group and local corporate accounts with consultation and guidance for the director of sales
- Develop relationships within the community to strengthen and expand customer base for sales opportunities
- Provide accurate, complete and effective turnover to internal stakeholders to ensure they are successful in executing for the client
- Accountable for sales goals, monitor progress toward those goals
- responsible for attracting and retaining customers
- Conduct site inspections and property tours with prospective clients
- Conduct weekly sales calls in person with local clients or via phone with remote clients
