Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or relevant discipline desired
  • 1-3 years of experience in a hotel, preferably in sales or operations role
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proficient in MS Office suite and related software
  • Valid drivers' license and a driving record that meets the company's insurance requirements

Job Duties

  • Selling and negotiating group and local corporate accounts with consultation and guidance for the director of sales
  • Develop relationships within the community to strengthen and expand customer base for sales opportunities
  • Provide accurate, complete and effective turnover to internal stakeholders to ensure they are successful in executing for the client
  • Accountable for sales goals, monitor progress toward those goals
  • responsible for attracting and retaining customers
  • Conduct site inspections and property tours with prospective clients
  • Conduct weekly sales calls in person with local clients or via phone with remote clients
