The position offered is for a Sales Manager who will play a crucial role in driving the hotel’s revenue growth. The Sales Manager is responsible for meeting and exceeding revenue targets related to occupancy and average daily rate (ADR), ensuring the profitability and market presence of the property. This role requires a sales-driven mindset, with a strong emphasis on generating business, creating and delivering presentations, building and maintaining long-lasting client relationships, and leading sales initiatives with confidence and decisiveness. The successful candidate will be a natural leader, capable of managing a sales team, setting strategic goals, and implementing effective sales plans.
The Sales Manager will oversee daily sales department activities, develop business opportunities through direct solicitation, secure new client accounts, and maintain existing relationships to maximize the hotel’s profitability. Additionally, the Sales Manager will be tasked with analyzing market trends, conducting competitor assessments, and coordinating marketing strategies that leverage the hotel’s strengths to outperform competitors. Job Requirements
- High school graduate or equivalent
- two to three years work-related experience with sales experience required
- one year progressive sales experience
- previous experience in hospitality industry preferred
- experience in hospitality sales, policies, and procedures preferred
- must be able to travel up to 20 percent

Job Qualifications
- High school graduate or equivalent
- two to three years of work-related sales experience
- one year of progressive sales experience
- previous experience in the hospitality industry preferred
- experience in hospitality sales, policies, and procedures preferred
Job Duties
- Direct the day-to-day activities of the sales department
- plan, organize, and assign work as needed
- develop and communicate strategies and goals
- train and advise team of policies and procedures
- develop business through direct sales solicitation
- secure new clients
- maintain existing clients while executing sales plans strategy to maximize profitability of the hotel
- follow up on leads to gain additional business
- increase profitable sales volume for the hotel by meeting and exceeding financial and proactive selling goals
- ensure all solicitation, closing, and client communications are complete and documented
- develop and assist with the hotel's marketing and sales strategy
- implement hotels marketing and sales plan
- analyze current and potential market sales and trends
- coordinate all activity to maintain and increase revenue and market share
- conduct ongoing competitor pricing and product analysis
- prepare departmental budget reflecting the hotel's business plan
- forecast occupancy fluctuations and direct selling activities
- meet or exceed budgeted revenue per available room (REVPAR)
- achieve sales revenue goals by managing to sell in-house guests and room nights through outside sales calls, telemarketing, hotel site visits, networking events
- support Guest Services by responding to guests' needs and providing resolution
- execute operational aspects of booked business including proposals, contracts, and correspondence
- perform other tasks necessary to meet or exceed guest satisfaction
