Job Description

Spitzer Acura of McMurray is a reputable automotive dealership known for its dedication to customer satisfaction and quality service. As part of the larger Spitzer Auto Group, the dealership specializes in offering a wide range of new and used Acura vehicles, combining luxury with performance and reliability. Spitzer Acura is committed to providing an exceptional car buying experience, along with superior after-sales support to its customers. The dealership prides itself on maintaining a professional and welcoming environment that caters to the needs of automotive enthusiasts and everyday drivers alike.

The role of a Sales Lot Porter at Spitzer Acura of McMurray is crucial to maintaining the smooth operation and presentation of the dealership's vehicle inventory. This part-time position focuses on the responsible handling, movement, and cleanliness of the cars on the lot, ensuring each vehicle is presentable and ready for customer viewing at all times. Sales Lot Porters must have excellent driving skills coupled with a trustworthy character, as the role involves handling valuable property and interacting with customers and vendors in a professional manner.

In this position, you will be responsible for moving vehicles between different areas of the dealership including the display lot, service workshop, storage facilities, and pick-up points. A key aspect of the job is to ensure that all cars are accounted for and maintained in pristine condition, which includes cleaning both interiors and exteriors, performing basic maintenance like checking fluids and changing batteries, and protecting dealership assets from damage. Given the dynamic nature of the automotive sales environment, the Sales Lot Porter also assists with lot upkeep such as trash removal and runs errands between dealerships or with vendors as needed.

This role requires a proactive individual who can handle multiple responsibilities efficiently while maintaining high standards of safety and customer service. The position offers flexible scheduling to accommodate part-time work and provides ongoing training through Spitzer University, allowing team members to develop their skills and advance their careers within the company. Additional benefits include paid uniforms and an employee assistance program, underscoring the company’s commitment to supporting its workforce.

Joining Spitzer Acura as a Sales Lot Porter presents an opportunity to be part of a well-regarded dealership where your efforts directly contribute to an outstanding customer experience and the successful operation of the sales team. With a focus on integrity, responsibility, and customer interaction, this role is ideal for someone who values a dependable workplace and is looking for meaningful advancement opportunities within the automotive industry.
