This market-based position requires the candidate to live within a 50-mile radius of Richmond and operate in a full-time, management capacity. As a Sales Executive for Marriott Select Brand Hotels, the successful candidate will support the revenue goals of multiple stakeholder hotels by proactively engaging business segments, including generating new accounts, reactivating previous business leads, and targeting small business clients. The role requires close coordination with Property Sales Leaders and hotel General Managers to implement effective sales strategies, maintain a competitive edge, and respond quickly to market trends and competitor activity. The Sales Executive is expected to excel in managing sales funnels using specialized reporting systems and internal lead referral tools to maximize business opportunities and foster strong customer relationships.
Key responsibilities include the identification and deployment of top business accounts, collaboration with various sales teams, and participation in local community and networking events to enhance brand visibility and drive business growth. The role also involves conducting site inspections, managing lead generation efforts, and ensuring data accuracy in sales information systems. Job Qualifications

Job Duties
- Drive revenue to achieve hotel topline goals through proactive solicitation of all business segments
- Coordinate and execute property internal mining efforts at assigned hotels
- Partner with leadership to implement competitive sales strategies and monitor market trends
- Manage sales activities including identifying top accounts, qualifying leads, and maintaining accurate sales data
- Engage in customer-facing sales activities such as site inspections, account calls, and networking events
- Collaborate with local sales and account teams to maximize production from high priority accounts
- Participate in community events and foster strong relationships with local businesses and networks
