Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- 2 years experience in sales, marketing, guest services, front desk, or related area
- or 2-year degree from accredited university in Business Administration, Marketing, Hotel and Restaurant Management, or related major
- ability to work remotely
- excellent communication skills
- strong negotiation and sales abilities
- proficiency with internal sales systems
- ability to prioritize and manage workload independently
- customer service skills
- willingness to participate in community networking events
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED with 2 years experience in sales, marketing, guest services, front desk, or related area
- or 2-year degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Hotel and Restaurant Management, or related major with no work experience required
- preferred 4-year college degree with experience in proactive lead generation in hospitality sales
- knowledge of hospitality industry and property-specific business segments
- ability to use sales and marketing tools and information systems
- excellent communication and negotiation skills
- strong organizational and prioritization abilities
- customer service orientation
Job Duties
- Works with Property Sales Leader to identify top accounts and coordinate efforts to drive business
- assists in identifying share shift targets
- manages daily status change reports to close hotel business
- works with Local Sales and U.S. Account Sales/GSO teams to drive production from high priority accounts
- coordinates and executes property internal mining efforts
- solicits new business from small business accounts and internal leads
- generates new potential accounts using business intelligence
- utilizes lead referral tools to solicit new opportunities
- ensures property lead generation programs are in place
- re-solicits past opportunities and lost business
- drives customer satisfaction through daily interactions
- conducts customer-facing sales activities and site inspections
- maintains accurate lead information and qualifies customers
- ensures timely lead turnover and leverages sales channels
- understands and communicates market trends
- uses company marketing initiatives to convert leads
- tracks activities related to revenue and production
- participates in sales strategy meetings
- manages daily priorities and adapts workload
- drives revenue from local non-deployed accounts
- activates tactics for deployed accounts
- performs other duties as needed
