This position is a full-time, management-level role located at 2100 Alaskan Way, Seattle, Washington. The role offers a competitive annual salary ranging from $80,170 to $101,000 and is bonus eligible, reflecting its importance to the organization's success. The Hotel Sales Executive will focus on driving revenue by proactively soliciting all business segments, including new business from small accounts, sourcing new accounts, identifying new targets, and reactivating past business leads. Responsibilities include managing pipelines, coordinating sales efforts, maintaining accurate lead information, and leveraging various data sources and sales tools to uncover new business opportunities. The role demands extensive customer engagement through solicitations, account calls, site inspections, and participation in community and networking events, emphasizing relationship-building and customer satisfaction.
Additionally, the candidate must utilize negotiation skills and sales creativity to meet revenue goals while understanding market trends, competitor strategies, and economic factors. This position offers a dynamic work environment where prioritization and independent judgment are necessary due to variable workloads. The role embodies Marriott’s commitment to equitable employment, diversity, and inclusion, providing employees access to comprehensive benefits such as medical, dental, vision, life and disability insurance, paid parental leave, educational assistance, and participation in 401(k) and stock purchase plans. The position also includes accruing paid sick leave and holidays, ensuring a balanced approach to work and personal life.
